Prof David Menon CBE FMedSci – David Menon is Director of Research and Honorary Consultant inCritical Care at Cambridge, emeritus NIHR Senior Investigator, Founding Fellow of the Academy ofMedical Sciences, and a Professorial Life Fellow in the Medical Sciences at Queens’ College, Cambridge.He founded the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit at Cambridge, where he established the first UKtraining programme for neurocritical care, and developed protocols that improved clinical outcome. Hehas received research grants totalling over £50 million and has over 650 peer-reviewed publications, witha ‘h’ index of over 140. He been continuously rated as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate since 2021and is recognised as the leading global expert in Brain Injury by Expertscape.
